Look for someone to join our expanding company

The job Involves attending customer site addresses on a planned and reactive basis to provide a high quality Auto /domestic Locksmith Service. Typical services include opening locked vehicles, the supply and Installation of new locksets; including programming or making keys to the vehicle when all keys are lost.

The role would ideally suit someone who is interested in vehicles and have some form of mechanical background. Right structured training will be given to the right candidate. Ability to learn quickly along with good problem solving skills is a must

Location

currently recruiting in the Suffolk Essex Area. The candidate should live in the either the co10 or IP postcode area.

Training

On the job training is provided across the uk the for the 1st aprox 12 weeks of the job Accommodation may be provided.

Auto Locksmith

The following skills would be advantageous but not imperative

·Good knowledge of the different motor manufacturers and models.

·Experience using of diagnostic equipment.

·Experience in removing & refitting all different types of vehicles locks including all associated trim panels.

·Understanding of car electrical systems.

·Knowledge of EEPROMs , Removal and Reading

·Experience of domestic locks

This role is for someone who is self-motivated and organised and has no aversion to driving long distances.

All specialist tools are provided.

The successful candidate must be able to pass a Criminal Records Bureau Check (CRB)

The position can be very diverse so it would be advantageous to be competent in other areas of locksmiths IE. General Locksmithing, training will be given to the right candidate.

Main Responsibilities
Being on site at the time specified
Ensuring right tools and parts are available for the job you are about to attend
Ability to maintain a high percentage of jobs completed in one visit along with customer satisfaction.
Ensure that all paperwork is completed to the highest standard and within tight deadlines and to update, both the customers and the office accordingly.
Be clean and presentable at all times
Maintain full vehicle stock inventory with correct stock levels

Key Skills.
Basic IT skills
Full Driving Licence
Working under pressure and to tight deadlines
Problem solving
Ability to complete paperwork to a high standard with good accuracy
Customer focused and friendly coupled with good communication skills.

Flexibility
Owing to working within a reactive industry, the successful candidate will have to be flexible on their start and finish times.

Working Hours
The basic working week is 42.5 hours between Monday to Sunday and will be required for after hours on call. (12 to 15 weeks pa)

Shift Start times will vary depending on company and customer needs.

Salary

During the three months training a salary of £268.60 per week is paid,

After training annual basic salary is £22,100 with progression to £26,520

In addition to basic salary the following

·Paid Per Job (For After Hours Call Out Ranging from £30-£80) depending on call out type


Once training has been completed and a good skill competency has been achieved On Target Earnings in excess of £27,000 can be expected for the right candidate.
