Pull up a chair, grab a cold one, and talk about life as a locksmith. Trade stories of good and bad customers, general work day frustrations, any fun projects you worked on recently, or anything else you want to chat about with fellow locksmiths.

Someone mentioned this in another thread and I thought it was worth sharing.
I haven't been smithing that long and find that a lot of senior Smith's don't think about it, but you should REALLY put some thought into how you park.
It sounds stupid, but it has saved me a lot of heart ache putting a little thought into it.
Unlocking a vehicle?
Park so that you're blocking them in until they've paid.
Going to a domestic violence situation or a potential squater house?
Park your van facing the road. Make sure you can leave in a hurry if something goes down.
Anyway, just some food for thought.

Should be a thought even if you are not at work or in a vehicle. Situational awareness i think they call it.
Just an AA living in an A world.

In the Seventies and Eighties, I always had Floor Shift on my Ford Vans, Redundancy, If Starter Failed, would park on a hill, to allow push starting. Starters seem to last longer now, Plus I can buy a starter, same day.

I the 90´s we made a road trip from Seattle to California in a beat up VW Beetle with a broken startermotor. Hills were good for parking, gas stations sometimes not..

With Situation Awareness, not only thinking of Blocking in, also park not to be blocked in as well. Some Bad areas.
