First flight of day was delayed half an hour as controller's swipe card did not work when trying to get into control tower. Article did not saw how he finally got in.
He should have had an old fashioned key to let him in just in case.

Mechanical Override Should be Mandatory and Available quickly, Should make so alarm will sound when used. Helps minimize Abuse.
