Just wanted to let the world know about this little keyblank company. They specialize in low cost key blanks and key accessories.
My favorite is the Ilco square head neuter bow blanks in many keyways with DO NOT DUPLICATE incised on one side--These keys
only cost 30 cents each, for the most popular keyways, which is 10 cents less than any of my other distributors charge. They also
carry some inexpensive transponders and they are stocked by the code # on the old transponder. Free Freight starts at $50!!

"Do not duplicate" is a joke. Just put some tape over it before you take it to the locksmith.

Sorry for off topic.

You dont think most reputable locksmiths know kiddie level tricks like this and will question or refuse to make a copy? Might fool the guy running the axxess machine at Home Depot, but I bet our locksmith members are sharper than that.

Wasn't making any assumptions about the members here, just saying writing that on a key is pretty much useless as long as some keycutters either don't know or don't care.

True but the Neuter Bow is a little different. Firstly most big box stores and hardware stores won't even be able to identify the key. Secondly for locksmiths who do honor the Do Not Dup stamp it is obvious that the neuter bow key is a DND. I realise many locksmiths don't care about the DND stamp, I am on the fence and always try and sell a restricted keyway when I have a customer ask me for Do Not Dup.

The five hardware stores in my area,
Ace, True Value, Home Depot, Lowes & Wal-Mart have all agreed to Not duplicate any keys that say Do Not Duplicate on them

Anyhow my post was concerning the low cost of keys at Key Craze, not illicit ways to get yourself a copy of a key that you should not have

Alright, I'm sorry. I'll try not to do it again.

Yeah, there are some good prices going on there. Are they good about shipping promptly? Are they keys you get from them pretty good?
Thanks!

I placed my first order with them a couple of years ago, when I found the Ilco DND key prices had risen to 40 cents a key
at most of my distributors, while Key Craze was only charging 30 cents for the same key.

When I placed my order on thursday, Key Craze said they would ship my order that day, even though it was almost 5pm
They said I would likely receive my order in two days!!

IDK if anyone stocks the many 'custom' colored keys, but Key Craze stocks lots of those as well & they are the same keys that cost more $$ elsewhere
