I see the picks are not just a straight 90 degrees. Any chance we can get an end-view of the picks? Am tempted to make a set that would be easier to use, and think ones like yours would be a good thing to emulate.

The only ones I have made have been the straight 90 degree version, and they can be difficult to use.

The pick wire on the left of the picture is the factory RB Medical one. It works great on some locks, and is too fat on others. The other two wires in the picture are home made

Fascinating looking at the factory tool. Was more wondering about the handmade set, but still glad to get whatever I can find for information.

I did indeed. Thought I sent a reply, but it was on my old phone which was functioning in a spotty manner. My apologies if the message never got to you.

Did not yet make a key to the lock. Been so busy lately. I did compare the measurements to what I was able to measure from a Chubb Cruiser lock, and they did not match up. Perhaps due to the offset key blade? Sending a Battleship lock to L0ckcr4ck3r to have him make it into a cutaway, as I was very impressed with the picture of the cutaway he made of your lock.

Any way we can get a couple pictures of your Battleship padlock cutaway with and without the key operating the levers? Probably should start another thread with the pictures of your lock instead of taking away from this thread.

Again, nice picks, lock, and history that you were kind enough to share with us.

It seems they have differant lever hights depending how old they are. It seems the newer ones are a slightly differant size, and have a tell tale blob of weld on the left of the casing.

Let me know which email address your using and I will let you know the step heights for newer levers too.
