Buying rekeyable locks

Postby acarrasco » 20 Mar 2017 22:36

I am looking to buy some rekey able padlocks to give out as promotional items.

Can anyone point me to a source for some inexpensive padlocks with blank body so I can engrave a company name on them.
thanks for the help.

hi.. you seem to have posted this in the category of Door Closers and Crash Bars... I will move this for you to the Locksmith Supplies area.

American Lock aluminum body locks are very popular for what you are asking.

American offers engraving/laser etching, here is an order form:
http://www.americanlock.com/pdfs/A-009_ ... E-Form.pdf

other companies make locks for couples to clip onto bridges to show their love, its a popular trend and they'll engrave a lock for you https://www.makelovelocks.com/

As far as sourcing out the actual padlocks, I'll leave that for our locksmith members to help you out.

I usually deal with IDN Hardware for my supplies. I don't think they do any engraving but their prices are good.

http://www.nusetlock.com/padlocks/nuset ... brass.html

Maybe this fits your needs, NuSet has a 1 3/4" and a 2" version, their logo is low on the body. The logo is only on one side and the top of the logo bar is one inch (1") from the bottom of the locks that I have. I have done business with NuSet for over 15 years without a problem.
