Abus branded keys?

Postby DangerDane » 27 Mar 2017 5:08

Is anyone aware of a place that can provide or sell the 6 pin Abus branded keys with the squareish head?. At a local shopping mall a small lockstore sold some oval cylinder, mailbox cylinders etc branded by Abus and with Abus keys, but it was standard european locks etc. Owning a few abus products myself I would actually like the keys to say abus as opposed to being some cheap unknown key with no branding on it what so ever. But am I out of luck or would I have to poke Abus to see if they will part with a few blanks to me?

1) what keyway?
2) do you have a picture of the bow style you are looking for?

Something like this:

And the keyway seems to be standard Ruko Series 600 (the normal ruko key with the Trapez shaped head.)

Abus does not make the Ruko, that is Assa. A picture of the keyway would be helpful.

Think that is the CS6 blank, but would have to check once I get home.

Yes. I have a few of them, but not certain that the key is the same as Abus uses for the padlocks, which is the blank i have.

It doesn't look like its the padlock key. The bow is the same, but the key is a bit longer, like the Trapez shaped Ruko series 600

Again, a picture of the lock and existing key would really help.

Key:

And its keyblanks like the key that I am looking for despite the fact that regular Ruko series 600 blanks fits all the same.
