HELP TO PICK A GOOD LOCKSMITHS TRAINING COURSE

GREAT SITE, JUST JOINED TONIGHT. I AM LOOKING TO GET ON A LOCKSMITHS COURSE. HAS ANYONE BEEN ON THE A1 SAFE AND SECURE (SAS) LASTING 3 WEEKS AND IS IT ANY GOOD

Have a look at this thread - viewtopic.php?t=5651 - amongst others on UK courses. Do a search or two and you will find plenty of stuff.

For what it's worth, I think 3 weeks is too long a course. You need to be taught the basics, which could last up to a week, and then go away and practise these skills in your free time rather than paying for someone elses time to practise them in.

I am a fully qualified carpenter who done a two day locksmith course in 2002, i have been so busy as a chippy i have not needed to do any locksmithing ( fitting aside), is there any locksmiths in the se London Kent area willing to do a short refresher with me one on one, if i go to another course half the time will be going over what i already know, i will pay obviously.Thanks.

contact the decent training firms and ask for a price to cover exactly what you need to cover, ie BS3621 lock picking etc etc get them to tailor a course for you.
