Do serrated key pins defeat impressioning?

I'd like to try to impression an American lock I have, but it has some serrated key pins. My intuition says the first serration will hit the shear line and the pin won't leave a mark anymore.
Has anyone successfully impressioned a lock like this?

Serrated and spool drivers don’t defeat impressioning efforts IME. A binding/marking serrated pin may false set at a serration and stop marking but it should resume marking once other binding pins are set.

Drivers, sure, they never come into play. I was concerned about the key pins - but now that you've made me think about it a little more, you're correct: they might stop marking when they reach a serration, but once all the other pins aren't binding they'll start to mark again.
Doesn't make it any easier to read the bloody marks...
