uh... what happened? how'd he do that?
The BiLock isn't the first bump proof pin tumbler because it isn't a pin tumbler.
And it's called a shear line, not a "sheerline".

He has another video posted (here) that's much clearer in showing what's going on with the tool.

It looks like he's using a pick that has slideable pins in each of the lever positions, and that the pins self-impression as you wiggle the tool back-and-forth (he's using the clutch on the drill to accomplish the same thing at a faster rate).

The tool's using a different principle for how it's impressioning but, with its slideable pins, it looks like it's constructed in a similar vein to something like a tubular lock pick. (Only, in this case, you need two tools because alternating "throws" of the blot use alternating sides of the actual key: each tool impressions one side of the double-bitted key.)

Looks like some sort of pin & cam decoder. Not seen one for double bitted locks before, pretty cool. Mac explained it pretty well I think.

It's a self impressioning tool. The sliders have just enough tension that they need a bit of force to move and eventually the binding and slight movements put them into the correct position. One important thing to remember is that the key is much less complicated than it looks; it is only using 1/4 of the bitting at any given time. The only reason he needs two keys in the first video is because his tool can only impression one side at a time so he need to switch in between.

Well I'd certainly like more information about it - how you made it, what materials etc. PM me if you don't want to put it in open forum :D

Also, if it is a technique that can be used on other locks (lever locks) and is of unusual and unique design, might be worth talking to Storm on this site or visiting his site and discussing whether it or a development of it could be manufactured at reasonable cost for sale to locksmiths (and earn some royalties from it).

Cheers...
