Got a cool old key? What keyway is this?! Need a key for that old steamer trunk or padlock? Do Not Duplicate got you down? What's that part number for that factory key section? Which supplier has this key blank in stock? Need the MACS, root depth, or Depth and Spacing for your lock? Need some pre cut keys? Keys and Key Blanks is the forum for you!

Why can't I get the right blank? Ilco 0997er

Postby AZEX » 15 Jul 2024 17:33

I've purchased blanks in the past and gotten the correct ones.

Twice I've tried ordering 10 packs of Ilxo 0997er for a padlock, and instead of the correct blanks, I recieve blanks with a 7/8" length from stop.

I need 1 1/16" long blanks. I so not understand why I'm ordering the correct number, but not receiving the older style blank.

Is there a compatible blank from another manufacturer?

TIA

Try using "O" instead of "0". That is what is in the catalog.
