the pins of the same size but different colors may have come from different kits. Could be color mix and match from a LAB kit or the gold pins could be factory original refils that were used to refil those spaces. If they are measuring to be the same then leave them be .

This is gonna drive me outta my freakin' skull. At least at the end of the tunnel, there's a nice pinning kit in it for me, but boy oh boy this was not what I had in mind for my weekend... and yes... it will take the weekend from what I can see.

If it's only a weekend your in good shape. I was in a shop once where the owner spilled a brand new one.

Anyways, if the pins are two different colors and your SURE they're the same size..well..sounds like someone mixed two different kinds of pins. Likely lab originals with Speciality Products kind OR .003 Lab's with .005 Lab pins (some sizes are the same but colors may be different) OR mixed factory original with those in the kit...

Hehehehe..whatever way it is...your going to get to know your Caliper VERY well. Have fun.

That's what the workshop lockies did to the apprentice before me. They sat him down with a big freakin' jar of pins, all different sizes, and told him to sort them out into their respective numbers.
