I bought a set of the fiber picks under the understanding that I could return if I wasn't satisfied. I tried and tried using my regular picks on the same locks. With not one lock picked with the fiber picks and all pick with my picks. I called and called trying to see what I had to do to send them back, no one would talk to me. I sent them back with a letter saying I wanted a full refund. They came back to me with some extra pices and the ones that broke trying to use them were replaced. Again I called and wrote. This time they said they would send a cut away padlock to watch what was going on. Nothing came! Now I sent them back again with another letter saying that I wanted a refund nothing else. They never came back and no refund.

how much did you pay for them? if they werent too much, and they actually send the cutout, it may be a good deal. Keep fighting, i hate scammers.

That is bad customer service except your getting a see through/cut away which makes up a little, if you dont want it you could sell it to recoup your money on the picks.

Name and shame the company is what i say.

Fiber picks are a bit of a gimmic from what i can seep. the selling point is that they not mark the pins so that forinsics becomes more difficult. They are made from some fiberous material (like heavy duty toothbrush bristles.) I saw a link on this page from quite awhile ago, so searching could *possibly* dig up the link, but i dont know if the page would still be up becasue its design was pretty cruddy..

So their big selling point is that you don't leave marks for forensics? You have to kind of wonder who their target audience is with claims like that.

the fiber picks from pickmasters have been discussed theoretically several times but this is the first review that I have seen where someone has actually bought one. The intellectual rundowns on these things has come up almost totally negative, most posts just don't believe it could work, but I have always thought the idea could have something to explore, and as always, I say that I will by a tryout piece when they make one that will address all the pins in a medeco simultaneously. For addressing less than all the pins, I already have tools to do that quite effectively. but if they lengthen the brush to an inch and a quarter, perhaps with a mix of stiff and soft bristles, I will buy one if they treat customers right. As I said, this guy who started the thread, is the first to deal with them and report on it, all other posts about it were just talk with no experience mentioned.

just before Xmas i had a phone call out the blue from them asking me if i wanted to buy some i was hessitant and the price droped in 5 mins i cannot remember the price now but it was quite a drop then i said i wasnt realy interested but he pressed and in the end i said call back after xmas. which he did and i want through it all again and in the end i told him i was spent out after the holidays, he gave up.
why didnt i just put the phone down on him i hear you ask?
answer is im to nice and i like to hear the speel these people use so next time im wiser.
i think he was offering the complete set for about £55 not sure
