Miwa Lock Pick CLEARANCE

Postby ststephen » 4 Feb 2006 15:35

As I was surfing around, I noticed this set for $12.95, normally $45.95, for picking Miwa locks. Where might I see this lock?

Maybe of interest to some other than me....

Take care!

Thats a vechicle pick set, best to leave it unless you like the tension tool for other wafer locks, seems reasonable at that price.

Just by chance, I saw a double sided wafer lockset (knobs and all) for $5 today, so I bought it.

The tension wrench in the aforementioned, on sale set, looks like one I have in my SouthOrd 32 piece. Although, I DO NOT SEE it in the picture from SouthOrd's site, maybe a freebie?

Anyway, wafer locks is my next search term. (See, newbies CAN use Search-Fu).

THANKS!

I made a guide to single wafer locks here: viewtopic.php?t=10541

double ones are usualy identical, except they have two sets of wafers... shocking isn't it

I have yet to see a SO made wrench for Auto locks.... oh well.

The one in my kit is the TW-15, it is a PORR picture, because they show a side angle, so it looks like a flat wrench (see the small wasker holding the two sides together?), but it is much more akin to the one in the Miwa Locks picture, as above. When I find my camera, I will take a picture.

THANKS for the great guide! I will try to open it without the keys first, then take it apart to learn from what you have shared.
