securefast 76mm sash

just tried my cb pick on a securefast 76 mm sash, only to discover the curtain does not throw the bolt. any pointers please. ps pinky i,ve put the chubb 110 away for another time when i actually become good at this!

If it's not one of the latest BS versions, then you won't pick it with a curtain pick. The previous version's curtain will turn 360 degrees, and the best approach is decoding using the SV kit.

Use an L shaped wire to tension the bolt like you would on a 3 lever lock,
then use the pick wire as normal.

pick as a non curtain lock with anti picks, use just 2 wires. the new lock picks with curtain pick as curtain no longer turns 360, though old lock is still a 1 minute opening with safe ventures kit which also opens the new lock too.

How are you using the SV kit on the new securefast, are you taking an impression ?

I have not got the sv kit yet so I cannot comment on this. However I just fashioned a wire to throw the bolt and used the cb pick along side it. The problem I am getting using this method is the levers do not seem to bind no matter how much tension I put on. Any hints

No mate im decoding it from locking position in usual way with differing readings.
