tubular pick ?

hey i was thinking of getting a tubular pick but wich pin set should i get the 7 or 8 which one would be more common?

from what i have heard the 7 pin ones are more common.

If you get a 8 pin SO you can modify it so it does both 7 and 8 pin locks.

There is a guide on this site with pics but it needs a drill.
