Dimple Lockpicks?

Has anyone used a dimple pick set like the one available at http://www.locksmith-tools.co.uk? (Item Number 30220)
If so, how effective were they?

effective on the kaba 11 pin only, the set is 4 dimple lock rakes, basicaly wiper blade with dimples on.
the set wont touch a garrison or an interactive lock.

If you want a dimple pick set i would recomend the Souber Mul-T-Lock set.They havnt failed me yet. I was 18 floors up in a tower block on Monday picking an outside door in the wind and freezing cold and they still did the job, even when you cant feel your hands anymore.

But if you buy it i wouldnt buy it from there Â£64.99 + vat..... :shock:

Â£35 inc. vat from most wholesalers...

Thats just a ripoff :evil:

I got mine today

To be honest I'm somewhat dissapointed - the picks are crappily assembled, and with the plastic case look like kid's toys. So I started off on a negative vibe as you can see. :roll:

But I have to say, that these picks are pretty good, I've been using them and quite quickly they' ve grown on me.

What really gets my back up against the wall is the price... Â£35 for 5 picks, of which 1 is double-sided and a few tension wrenches, seems OTT as far as I'm concerned. The case is also poorly designed, and you have to tip all the picks out to choose the right one, since the case is too big for them.

So despite several things which grate on my nerves I'd say these are a decent investment if you are going to be picking Mul-T-Locks.

You'd be INSANE to spend Â£65 on them though - Shrub's flogging a brand new set, the same as the one I have for Â£40 in the Buy/Sell/Trade section.

The Souber set are reliable and with a bit of practice do exactly what it says on the tin. Its a bit of a dull pick though

But saying that they have never let me down.

Would anyone with a set of dimple picks be willing/able to take a decent resolutiong picture for me? I'd like to include that in my presentation for L1...all I can find online are crappy 100x100 pictures.

Matador picks are for rakeing dimple locks, these are for pin by pin.
