door locks

i was advised to practice on door locks, so i went to my dads shed and found a spare lock for the conservatory door. only problem is im not sure if its good to practice with. its made by DNS INDUSTRIES i think. can someone tell me if i should bother practicing on it, or will it be too hard for me? thanks

Have a go.

If you can't pick it then try at least to feel the pins etc inside the lock.

I've got 2 locks, one I can pick the other I can't but I still practice and it's good to try to feel the pins binding etc.

Give it a go, if you get annoyed get another lock and come back to it later.

You could always get a cheap noname padlock from somewhere for a few dollars (or pounds in your case). Those were what I started with.

well my dad braught me home a door handle it was a no name, and i could pick it so i opened it up and it had a mushroom pin.
