Have you contacted the shop first? It is normally nice to give them a chance to answer. Also patients is a strong asset of any lockpicker, use it ;)

Hello donoska,

I placed an order from them last week on Wednesday and they shipped it out Thursday. I'll probably get it sometime next week. Remember that depending where in Canada you live, it could take a few days longer to receive than someone that lives closer to the border like me :D

Many people shop there so I'm sure they're not going to rip you off. Just be patient. I hate waiting for my new toys to come in the mail too but in the meantime, use this time to read over the MIT Guide and look at the videos again.

Hopefully you'll get them soon. Keep us posted.

Hey donoska,

By that response I take it you live in Toronto? I'm in St. Catharines. Hmmm, maybe we should start a lockpicking club! :D I never received my order from LockPicks yet so I'll just have to wait until next week. Can't wait to get my new toys...ordered a SouthOrd Tubular 8, Brockhage Pick Gun and Warded Padlock Picks.

Hi I would suggest contacting them without worrying about it on a public forum. Be patient I have not heard anyone being ripped off by them.

Hey donoska,

When exactly did you place your order and did you receive the confirmation e-mail that your order HAS been shipped? When I placed my order on Feb 25th, I received one e-mail from them thanking me for the order. On Feb. 26th, I received another e-mail stating that the order has been shipped. I still haven't received my order however I'm sure it should be here this coming week. I would think you should be getting yours as well. I too have the tendency to worry but after receiving 2 orders, I'm pretty confident it's just a matter of time and a matter of being patient. I hope I get mine before you! :D

I've only REALLY been picking for about 2 weeks now so I'm still very new to all this. I have had success in opening several locks (only one with spools though) and am getting to the point I can visualize what I'm doing in the lock and single pick the pins. Single picking a lock open is soooooooooo rewarding and I feel great after doing it. Raking the lock open was fine when I first started but it feels more like luck than anything. I still sometimes start by raking to set a few pins and then I single pick the remaining pins. I enjoy the latter method much better.

Let us know when you receive your picks. Oh and by the way, what set did you pick up...the MPSX-14 or the PSX-14?
