Dodge Shadow??? A simple car opening wire would've been just as fast, cleaner, and the extra time could've been taken to take the whole car.

Back to the OT.......

Yes there are locks where lubricants of certain types should not be used.

For example, grease and oil should not be used on safe combination wheels. The grease or oil will collect dirt and other contaminants eventually causing fly's to stick, which would of course cause problems.
Automotive entry discussion is for elsewhere, guys...

And the EVVA MCS uses plastics parts, too - the rotors and the cover of the rotors.

Yes I know. I looked at how I might skim out that conversation from the topic, but it started to give me a headache. So next I considered just trashing the thread, but that seemed a bit of a waste. So... we'll just leave it at that and consider it 'nuff said.

Sorry about the tangent generation, didn't intend for that to happen.

Maxxed - did not see your post - I must have scrolled past it - citrus degreasers, never thought of that. Thanks for the tip.

I started useing citrus products after several customers complianed about the smell of brake cleaner and WD 40. (note : I used WD40 for latches and hinges). I found a product called Releaseall a citrus lubericant that seems to be working well so far
