what is it about spool pins people find hard? i just bought a lock- 5 pins with 2 spools. within the first minute of opening it i picked it twice with a freaking hairpin and pen clippy thing! i have now repinned it multiple times and changed position of the spools, and the entire pin placement, etc, and i even used DB's beginner exercise with it. ANY way i do it it seems to take about 10 sec to pick. sometimes with varying tension (release a bit, while still applying) all i see that is different than other locks i have played with is the amount of tension- it takes a bit more finesse to it- lighter but still applied. otherwise i dont seem to notice much of a difference- best yet:
this is the packaging:
i especially like the "Anti-pick spool pins"
**please note- i have i think less than 100 posts here and i am still about a novice (more than noob, but less than anything decent) in LPing.
also- does anyone know what this means?:
