question about 2 methods for re-pinning a lock

I'm pretty sure I know what your talking about. To be honest, I've never played with one, olny seen me in catalogs, so I dont realy know.

I belive these devices are consitered by-pass techniques. You should probubly continue this conversation in the advance section.

This really isn't advanced topic rocket science here. It's a pretty well known entry method as most do it with a dent puller. If you have this type of kwikset on your door it should be replaced. It takes litle to no skill to do and http://www.inspectiondollars.com/kwiksetpuller.pdf
should explain everything you need to know. Their price is absolutely rediculous for this tool. I think they make triple on each one. Most of you can probably make your own.

Lol not to be an a## I just hate those locks. Any company would continue to make a lock with such a flaw obviously just doesn't care. I mean its not like they found out about it yesterday. Kwikset has probably known about this tool for at least 10 years now. In the US it is one of, if not the number one selling residential knob lock.
