I had an abloy knockoff, complete copy of the 7 disc Dlock or doubleD or cam type, I had an old abloy key with mostly deep cuts, it didn't fit the lock, but I put it in and turned clockwise, then began to turn back and forth to the stop where its locked, I think that eventually by not turning back all the way, I was dropping off discs, and perhaps the method has some sort of tension in it too, causing discs to want to stop at the gates, anyway, the lock opened. and I could do it again too. I sent this lock and key to DB to look at. when I turned anticlockwise, I did not go to the stop, but simply backed up and took another run at the clockwise stop that works when its locked, eventually it turned, and I assume that by backing up, I was somehow setting discs at the gates. If you have one of these simple classic abloy cylinders and try this with a key cut mostly to the deep cuts, try this and tell me if your getting it open too.
