Sentry safe box's Cross Lock

i am trying to pick a Sentry V120's safe box which has a Cross Lock on it.

i can rake and make the plug turn almost 90 degree, then it stop.

at first i thought i have to pick 4 times on each 90 degree turn, but after the first 90 degree...it stops and all the pins stay 'set'. i haev no way to press pin or rake it.

i even try use plug spinner, but it doesn't work either.

the stragne thing is i can always turn it back to lock position and the pins pop up...i ahve to pick again.

anyone have any idea about how can pick this kind lock? thx.

After picking , is it possible that you are encountering the bolt retraction mechanism?

but i just have a new thought...is it possible i turn it the wrong direction?

I have seen a safe similar to this. I haven't picked it because I don't have the skills yet, But if it is the same as the one I saw at WalMart then you only have to turn the lock 90 degrees to unlock the safe.
