tell us what locks you are picking, give us pictures of the locks you're picking, tell us about your picks, the method by which you pick. Are you raking or SPPing?

If you're just looking for general tips on how to improve your picking? Do DBs exercise(spelling...) it's stickied. Search around.

Or be very specific, and you'll get specific feedback.

Do you mean 2nd and 4th pin? Or is there a picture you didn't put up?

Thanks for the pictures, by the way! Do you have a half-diamond in your collection? Not that you shouldn't get solid with any pick you own, but I was pretty amazed at the difference between picking this style of padlock with a hook as compared to a half-diamond.

Not only did I get more consistant, but when I switched back to the hook I had a much easier time of deciphering the lock. I'm not saying this will be the same for you, and someone will likely come along with better advice, but why don't you give it a shot in the meanwhile. Helped me :)

That Masterlock has security pins. I have one. It's on loan to a friend who's learning security pins right now so I can't tell you exactly what type of security pins mine has. I believe it was like 2 spools though maybe...

sorry to double-post.

I wanted to add that I find that masterlock tricky. I can pick it easily now, but the security pins aren't as clear and obvious and easy to manipulate as those in the Brinks Shrouded, for instance.
