Okay, okay. I'm sorry.

Honestly though, I actually had a call from a lady in Toronto asking me if I could bring something to them.

When I asked her if she knew where in the h_ell Nova Scotia was, she said (and I quote) "Isn't it just outside the city?"

SAY WHA????

I told her I would fire up the helicopter and be there in a few hours. She didn't get the sarcasm.

Honestly, I am NOT making this up.
ok.....good question i just ordered from lockpickshop.com a few days ago.....(got a replacement short hook) and no they do not check if your a locksmith....just make sure they are legal to posses them in your province before you order any lockpick related items. and i also bought a 14-peice lock pick set from them and they dont care as long as your older than 18.....which im not (im 13) but i ordered with my dads name and hes 51 sooooooooo they dont care.
I hope you had your dads permission to do that. Use your picks wisely - only on locks you own or have a written permission to pick. Well, many places a verbal permission is more that enough. But say, if you break the lock - the owner can turn you in and say you didn't have a permission. That can turn serious really fast. I've seen a couple of these cases. Not nice.
So rule of thumb: If it's not yours - get a written permission first.

Enjoy picking

I know this post is a bit late in the game, but it reflects off my original post.

I would strongly recommend against representing any company's policy on shipping restrictions on this forum, as your own experience may be circumstantial and the consequence of these shops already knowing you or being familiar with your presence here.

Also, as we enter a dark era in lock bypassing tools and postal restriction overhauls, these companies may be changing their policies or scrutinizing their orders more closely. It might be considered a nuisance to them, or even libel, if we start informing the public that "they ship to anyone".

I'm sure these companies don't want certain offficials breathing down their necks, because of something that was read here.

Well I live in the south eastern U.S. I want to get a set because I find lockpicking interesting, kind of like a potential hobby to me. I will try some hombree picks in the near future again, but I belive I need a halfway decent set to start with.
