Task Force Padlock

Postby jubb » 8 Apr 2004 14:48

When I first bought my lock picks back in september I bought a Task Force padlock from Lowes Hardware to practice on. I had a lot of trouble picking it at first and picked probably 10 other locks before I got the Task Force padlock to open. As I think back on it, it almost felt like it had a spool or other kind of security pin. I have tried to search for this lock manufacturer to see if I could find out if it did have a spool pin. Does anyone know anything about the Task Force padlock? I was wondering if it was actually manufactured by someone else or something. Unfortunately I got rid of the lock and can't test it again. I just am trying to work on recognizing security pins when I feel them.

I appreciate your help,

Jubb

It sounds like an import knockoff padlock, at least to me. My Lowes doesnt carry it (I just checked).
