Do a google search for the MIT guide to lockpicking, search this site also and you will find loads of information. Just tapping will not get you far. What kind of lock are you trying to open? What kind of pick are you using? I have found here that the more information you give in your post the more help you will receive. Also, the "old timers" here tend to get a little grouchy when you post a question that could easily have been answered by using the search function. Good luck.
