why isnt there a forum section JUST for making picks?

Having read the FAQ's you are still unfulfilled and seek more enlightenment, so post your general lock picking questions here.

try looking further down the front page. its called lockpicks-manual. it is for making picks.

the way i see it is, the automatic forum is for automatic tools like pick-guns etc, and the manual forum is for manual picking, with lockpicks(not making lockpicks)

Rewt, many people would disagree with you.
That part of the forum is not solely for pickmaking (it's also for commercial picks), but it is where all the home made picks should end up.

The statement above is based on personal opinion and a knowledge of what has been posted there for quite some months.

Well, hrm...

The Pick-Fu section is for discussion of picking techniques.
The Lockpicks Manual forum is under the "Hardware" heading and is really for discussion of manual pick tools, be they homemade or commercial.
The Lockpicks Automatic section is for discussion of Pick guns, snap picks, EPGs, etc.
