Get this one:

Or this one:

http://www.lockpicks.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=344

I have the metal one, but I really want to wood one for my shop. I also have a plastic semi-pro .005 pin kit that I keep in the car.

The up side to this one, http://www.lockpicks.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=510 is that you get caps and covers for I-Core locks.

If you buy the caps and covers seperately, I would buy one of the universal .003 kits. Then you are covered for everything. If you will ONLY be doing I-Core, get that kit.

It depends on what you plan on doing with it.

If you want a pining kit for doing locksmithing services then you want the second one. It's the one I have and it has repined everything that I have come across. The first one will not pin very many of the locks you will see in the KC area. I started with a smaller pinning kit and found I could only pin a few brands.

Oh, I forgot to mention this kit if you only want something small.

It really depends on what you are going to do, and how often.

I would recomend the second unit you posted Lab universal .005 will rekey virtually all commercial and residential locks. It will not do Best locks because these pins are smaller in diameter.
