I was going to say that the new member guides needed to be updated because I see so many new users that ask the same questions every week. I reread all the sticky guides and it seems to cover about 95-98% of the questions most new members ask. The only thing I didn't see in the sticky threads was bump keys but I did one search and found hundreds of post about them. I guess that leads me to believe that most new members are not reading the sticky guides or not taking time to use use the search function correctly.

I would second that. The second I read when I joined here were the stickies, the first was how to use the search function.

It may not work as a rule though, most new users here don't even read the rules or get so caught up in the moment and post without thinking about them.

I really don't have any suggestions concerning this that would not require alot of modifications to the site and how it relates to new user accounts.
