Brinks R70

Postby twistedswift » 1 Dec 2006 18:33

I have been picking simple locks for awhile like masterlock no3, my door locks. Yes I know I shouldn't pick locks that I rely on. And they are getting easy. So today I bought a Brinks R70. Was wondering if anybody can give me some tips and how many security pins if any are in this lock.

Thanks.

not sure if this lock has security pins it does feel like it might have spools.
trick to this lock is tension.

i'll see if i can pull mine apart tonight

although i don't think there is a way to do it without damaging the lock, thats ok tho, will be fun

i have picked my R70 alot i use it as my test lock when i make a new pick

Like i said before the trick to this lock is the tension, mine here is a little bit of play because of the heavy spring behind the plug.

Don't get mad if I am wrong anyone! I Remember someone saying that this lock has six pins and the first two are spool pins. I have it. It was somewhat of a trick but I managed it in about a half hour of dedicated picking.
