Yes it will as long as you fit a BSEN 1303 grade 4 cylinder.

The insurance requirements are different for Aluminium and UPVC doors.

BS 3621 is designed for locks fitted to Timber/Composite Doors.

If you go to MLA website you can download the Minimum insurance requirements for domestic properties and see that doors made from different materials have different locks/standards specified.

thanks all for giving straight answers ,
MARK A, this may be the obvious way to go but im trying to keep the cost to the customer down ( repeat work) . although , it seems from what i`ve been reading over the past few days ( most time i`ve spent on here since registering ), if you do do something out of the ordernery, it makes you thought of as un-professional or some kind of a deval worshiper re: euro`s & hacksaws.

Fitting A/Rite Hook cases with Cylinders would be cheaper than Chubb 3G220's.

You could try some builders merchants to see if they have any 2" Legge deadlocks but think you'll find most have gone now.
