does the lock, or any of the stuff that came with it have any patent numbers on it? I noticed that the key said "patent". patent info is public record, so that could shed some light on the mechanics of the lock

I found some images at the patent office on a lock with flexible key.














I find the key Interesting because it seems it has its own sheath.

I love the patent office it is so awesome because if you want to know how something works you can get very detailed info on it.
