New Book By Bill Phillips

Postby pauly003 » 19 Dec 2006 18:52

Just picked up a new book by bill phillips called Home, site, and office security. It covers many areas of security, but is pretty basic. (for beginners) It's not about picking, but it should be a good read as i am not only interested in locksmithing, but general security as well. Once i have read the book i will post more info. Has anybody else read this book or care to comment??? :shock :) 8) :) 8)

I'd be interested to know how it differs from his previous book (Professional Locksmithing Techniques), if you have that one too. Perhaps you could post a rough table of contents?

The book really is pretty basic. It has a small section on safes which includes an explanation of all the UL ratings, which is nice to have. It also covers a couple of high end electronic door locks. I will post a table of contents ASAP
