High Security Pins

Postby technik » 24 Apr 2004 21:38

anyone know where you can get high security pin kits? I looked on lockpicks.com, and they sell them in their Universal Pin Kit, but I just want the security pins, and dont wanna pay that much ($149.95US) for all the other pins. I saw on the LAB site that they sell a Security Plus kit:

http://www.lab-lockpins.com/cathome.htm
(LMDSEC)

anyone know where I could get this kit, or one similar to it? Its perfect to what I want, but I dont know where to get it from.

Thanks guys,

make your own

take a standard top pin and stick the very tip of it in a vise.

take a hack saw blade and cut into it midrift about 20% of the way and continue around the whole pin

ive read that even if you file down a pin for resizing that it must be very smooth or it can scratch and stuff up the housing.

Thanks guys, all advice is appreciated. Anyone else tried shaping/filing top pins?
