Looking for pic's for a lockpicking powerpoint presentation

Postby Lucky1406 » 9 Jan 2007 16:22

I'm going to be having my first Locksport meeting on Jan. 15th. And I'm trying to make a powerpoint presentation for lockpicking basics. But I'm having a hard time trying to find good, clear pictures to describe the binding process, and good pics of cutaway locks, so that I can describe the internal workings of simple locks. If anyone has any really clear and easy to understand pics, that would be a great help. Also, If anyone has ever done a powerpoint presentation over picking, If you could send me a copy of that, It would be much appreciated. Thanks for any help,
Nick

Deviant Ollam's excellent site with animated gifs are available (published under copyleft, just give credit where it is due) here: http://deviating.net/lockpicking/topics.html.

I just wasted an hour on it, and I wasn't even trying. Very well put together. Gives me all kinds of hopes for the future of my personal lockpicking. Sidebars look like fun!

google image search "lock cutaway," i just did, and i'm not sure exactly what you're looking for, but it looks like you could pull a few semi-useful images away from there.

good luck!

maybe that is simpler than what you are looking for, but there's lots of pictures like these, some more complicated.
