I would buy a whole bunch if I could. Not only for use, but that you could easily sell some of the hardware on Ebay/to a locksmith and be able to use that cash for more tools/locks.

Do you think it would be easier to pick this lock with a pick gun and that special tension tool or to use a really small pick?

The special tension tool is for picking the control shear line. I have never attempted a pick gun, simply because I dont own one, but I imaging that it would be effective in some cases. Why the question about a very small pick? I haven't had any trouble with pick size in keyways such as A, E, F, G, or even K. Although the new "Patented" keyway is pretty nasty stuff.

The best brand lock I am going to try and pick is the kind built into the door know and the opening seems pretty small. I think its an older version so a standard pick will probably work. Ill let you know soon what happens.

But for most SFIC locks, don't you need to make a special serreated/teethed pick in order to pass the sheer-line?

No, a hook or any other pick for that matter will work just fine.
