I have a few ASSA cylinders my self. I found out you have to use alot of force on the wrench. They have extra long springs

I guess that is how ASSA protects itself from bumping. Their locks have pretty strong springs. So I am not sure if assa locks can be bumped. At least those entry-door locks.

Gold plated ASSA bump keys were Barry's gift from Eric343 when we arrived in Holland. They can definitely be bumped.

Saw something on IRC that transpired last night that made me want to clarify something about Barry Wels bump keys.
1 - Zeke79 did the actual cutting of the keys, and perhaps more (he could likely clarify when he returns from vacation)
2 - Everyone has said that they should function like a normal bump key, the coating being sturdy enough to withstand some bumping without chipping off.

Heh, DB was spreading lies on IRC last night
Basically - I forgot to mention Zeke's involvement in the gift of the bump keys and that they were functional, not merely decorative.

I had visions of Barry now selling bum keys with Zeke spending all day and night cutting them lol
