picking those master locks...

hey guys im new to this site and well new to lock picking. i was wondering if anyone would care to give me any help on how to pick those master combination locks... ive been reserching for about a month now and i still cant figure out what to do, all the websites i go to tell me how to get the combination and i have a hard time doing that.. i havent opened one lock yet. i think it would be fun to learn lock picking over the summer. thanks for the help

Master combination locks have been mentioned over a few dozen times on this site. Please do a search for combination or combo. Welcome to lp101.

i did search and it never told me how to pick it... and on other websites they tell u to pull on clasp and turn let then when it stops add 5 to that number? it never stops on 2 locks i have tried

i dont exactly know these locks ive just know how to do it

but why are you trying to open that type of lock, why dont you try normal key locks, there more fun

Next time you find something that has been discussed before please post in that thread instead of making a new one. And tell your problems instead of just saying a broad statement like "how do i pick locks". Say when you bought the lock because if it is a new master combo then it might not have the same traits or problems. The whole idea is to practice practice practice and understand how the locks work. Look at howstuffworks and see the combo part. If you still can not work it out I would suggest you take apart the lock (yes this means destroying it) and see how it works yourself. Either way help yourself a little then we can help you that little bit more.
