i picked my first lock today. it was a padlock from cvs. It originally had 4 pins but i took 3 out and there was 1 left and i picked it lol i know it sounds easy but it was my first time. I used my own home made picks that i could send u a pic of just reply . i used a half diamond pick and a twist flex tension wrench both home made out of hacksaw blades. im so excited . i know it sounds weird but yeah thats me.

First step is the hardest one. Keep reading this site, and searching through the archives. Learn everything you can. You'll do fine if you keep your eyes and ears open.

Congrats. The hardest part is getting a feel for what your are doing. With no one there to show yuo how to do it, it can be realy hard to apply something when you are just reading some text. And it is a great skill, even if yo unever need it fpr pratical purposes it is a great party trick

well done the feeling that you get when that lock first opens is undescrible
its even better when the tools you used are ones that you have made yourself
well done keep it up and keep trying
