Purchasing Info

I was wondering if you need a special license to purchase lockpicks from the sponsers site? I have recently got in to locking as a sport and like it but only have two picks and a homemade tension wrench. I want to buy a set from the sponser site but dont want to be arrested or anything, i know its illegal to carry lock picks in Boston, MA but they wont be leaving my house really ever. Thank you.

no you can buy them no problem, and from peterson-international, lockpicks.com, and a few other sites too

Peterson may once in a while call you back to ask for credentials but 70% of the time they don't care.

But places like LockPicks.com, Lockpickshop.com, etc never ask for ID or anything.

Lockpicks.com will ask you to check a box where you have to "confirm" that you are legally entitled to purchase pick tools but this is only to cover their own butt from legal problems if the purchaser ever uses the tool they bought from them for illegal purposes.

And in most places in this country or even the world it isn't illegal to own pick tools as long as you leave them at home or don't use it to commit a crime.
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture
