Nice find but the Mods will probably lock this thread since its about automotive lockpicking.
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture

We aren't allowed to talk about automotive discussion in the open forums sorry.

I think instead of deleting this, it shoudl be moved to the advanced section because those templates are quite good.

As said, this is discussion for the automotive section in the advanced forums. However I will tell you that they need to be thicker than a standard pick. Hacksaw blades will not work well for this. You may try feeler gauge at around .032 - .040 thick. I am not sure of this dimension however so some experimentation would be needed. It needs to easily fit the keyway and be strong enough to apply turning pressure without bending. You could of course make them from hacksaw blade or sink snake material and then use a tension wrench to apply turning pressure.
For the best book out there on high security locks and their operation, take a look at amazon.com for High-Security Mechanical Locks An Encyclopedic Reference. Written by our very own site member Greyman! A true 5 Star read!!

Biggermens: Haven't you been told on at least two occasions that automotive discussion is restricted to the advanced forums? Please observe the rules here.
