I propose the idea of an 'ignore' button on the forum. This will allow someone to totally bypass a thread/user they don't get along with. Members that wish to contribute in a helpful manner will not add the OP to the ignore list. Those that want nothing more from a user, will use the feature.

I think it would decrease the work load of the admin staff. For one, they would not have to babysit the forum threads as much. They would also not have to make senseless posts themselves to admonish a bad post made by another. This just might help with the search feature. I bet all those senseless posts that are thought to be helpful, will not confuse the search filter as much.

Remember the first rule. Garbage in = Garbage out.

Buggs, it is a good idea but it is not something that will be done to the forum itself as Mr. Picks does not do add ons for phpbb.

You can however get an extension for firefox that does just that. It was posted in the forums somewhere quite some time ago. You can likely dig the plug in up with a google search.
For the best book out there on high security locks and their operation, take a look at amazon.com for High-Security Mechanical Locks An Encyclopedic Reference. Written by our very own site member Greyman! A true 5 Star read!!

Is the pencil case you have them in made out metal? Coz that might be the reason they are making lots of noise.

metal case,

if the case is metal, you could put in a small piece of clothe an put a drop of oil on it, this will keep your picks from rusting also, another thing could be a small plastic bag which can easily be compressed in and will expand and hold everything from rattling around.

I like the idea of using a magnet - We secure the knives at work to the wall using the same principal and it works well.

The Southord leather-ish case works well enough, and I never noticed any noise coming from the case even when sprinting.

That magent idea has honestly got some wheels turning no - Thank you for the suggestion McGyver101. :)

If your thinking of the same type of kinfe rack i am (like a magnetic bar) then that could make a very cool wall holder for picks, or a sloping one to put on a desk. Making it very easy to switch picks when picking. I sometimes have them simply in a pocket and out of everything they seem to rattle the least.
