IRC servers down?

Have the slashnet servers been going down a lot lately? I'm having a hard time getting in.

Actually I haven't had any trouble connecting to SlashNet. For what it's worth, it looks like i'm connected to "moo.slashnet.org". You may try connecting to that one directly rather than taking pot luck with irc.slashnet.org.

no problems getting on. in fact im on now but i cant use my password and its not prompting me for it even though after 60 seconds its meant to boot anyone that hasn't used the password. so i cant get the lovely @ symbol or swing the ban hammer

Sometimes the authentication is tied to the host address you had when you were first registered as an op. If you've since changed ISP's or are connecting from a different internet connection, you may need to update the approved address that is associated with your account on SlashNet.
