BEST Brand question

Does anyone know what happened to the Best Brand locks... did they sell there company or something ...anyway im just looking for a site that sells A3 BEST lever locks...THXZ

Best brand is owned by Stanley, who also owns Precision Hardware........................

A3 would be the type of system.....as to how the core is pinned.
I believe the A3 is no longer used for new.

You could repin the cores to A2, or A4 system. Preferably A2 as M.A.C.S is 9 (2 step pairity).

A4 is 6 w/single step if you choose..........

Uh, BEST's aren't lever locks... unless we're talking about different types of BEST's. If we are talking about the same lock, then you can buy some on ebay pinned to your specs, or get some from http://www.clksupplies.com/shop/index.php?cPath=22.

Well it is a BEST i core lock in a "classroom" style lever lock...and i need another one but cant find it...

I think you may be talking about a lockset with a lever handle that takes an interchangeable core cylinder, rather than a lever lock?

Yea you are right... i need a interchangable BEST icore lock... i guess it is the A2 system because it is kinda newish, anyway if anyone has a site to buy one of those that be kool :P
