Strange Symbol

Me and my picking buddy found a lock that had a symbol of a V with a square in the middle. What kind of lock is this, sorry for the vague description but thats all i got from it.

It's a lock you probably can't pick, sorry for the vague description.

Point being, when you ask questions about locks, get as much information about the lock that you can, and even pictures if you can. The more information you can provide, the faster, easier and more accurate everyone's help in the forums will be.

Your question was about as generic as "I saw a car with 4 tires, 2 doors and a bumper, what kind of car was it?" That alludes to a lot of cars, not any specific one. Just as your question in trying to identify a lock was about as generic. More details = better help.

Sorry i coudln't get anymore details but my friends father took it away talking about how we are gonna grow up to be criminals so therefore i couldn't really do anything about. I saw a car matching that description too over by that big building in the middle of town.

Where did you find the lock or how did you come by it for your mates dad to decide to confiscate it?

I encountered one that had a V with a Triangle in it on the front. It was a brown, plastic handle, kinda curved and it sttill turned when locked even though it didn't open. I think it also had a keyhole... (just poking fun  )
