Transponder key cloning

Postby Dean W » 20 Jan 2008 2:20

Hi guys I hope someone can help. I currently do key cutting and am looking at starting to do transponder keys, nothing fancy to start with and prob just fixed codes. I am looking at 2 machines:

STRATTEC QUICK -CLONE
AD90

Can anyone tell me which one is the most suitable. The AD90 is twice the price but I dont mind as long as its suitable.

No idea how much the AD90 is worth but if you are going to invest in a cloning machine I'd really suggest getting one that does crypto too. The RW4 has the potential to be useful for years to come as long as the guys making keys continue to be clever. A fixed cloning tool is already pretty limited in use now. You'll find yourself disappointed every time somebody comes in for a key and you have to turn them away despite the hundreds you already spent on tools and blanks.
