Lock Pick challenge

Hey I'm new but today in class the professor basically challenged the kids.
It's hard to describe this challenge. But a professor of ours said to the class when briefly discussing locksmithing, that the Best MX8 locks we use in the campus dorms are unpickable and would challenge anyone to come up with a solution to pick them with just traditional tools. I really don't understand what he meant by it (as in why the locks aren't pickable) or if it's true. Is it possible to pick Best Access MX8 cores?
