Where are the Primus blanks?

The utility patents on Primus expired in 2007, it's about time for aftermarket blank manufacturers to make blanks for them.

Does anyone make blanks for Primus blanks ready to accept new side bittings?

Non Primus blanks are designed to not even enter Primus keyways and Schlage only sells Primus blanks with side bittings pre-cut so the technician will only have to cut the standard cuts.

Well Schlage anticipated that and this is why the Everest side milling is like:

ignore the periods. they're for spacing.

The trough portion is to prevent modification of non-restricted Everest blanks into Everest Primus keys.

So, given Primus/Everest Primus blanks with unmilled side cuts and the original key with side milling, you should be able to make a copy on something like the Sindewider.
